“Scripture of the Day”
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. – 2 Timothy 4:2-4
“Church, the time has come when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.”
Preachers, what do we plan to do with the TRUTH? Will we just sit back and tolerate ungodliness or will you preach against it?
My humble suggestion is this, “Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favourable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.”
Preachers, don’t compromise or water down the doctrine of Christ now. This generation needs to constantly hear the truth.
“Have a Blessed Day!”
